🐶 Junior Pack Helpers (Ages 8–12)

7-year-olds welcome with a buddy age 10+

Hands-On Tasks:

Feeding assistance

Water bowl refills

Helping reinforce basic commands like sit, wait, and down

Assembling enrichment toys or slow feeders

Helping with treat prep or handouts

Light cleaning (like toy wipes or crate checks)

Participating in calm dog interactions/socializing

📝 All tasks are adult-supervised and matched to each child’s comfort level.

✨ Volunteers are encouraged to learn, ask questions, and move at their own pace.

🐾 Teen Pack Members (Ages 13–17)

Hands-On Tasks:

Everything from the Junior list, plus:

Helping with leash walking in secure areas

Shadowing and assisting with muzzle or pack training

Supervising younger volunteers

Leading group activities (like a puppy “school” session)

Assisting with client greeting or intake prep

Helping run event stations at photoshoots or treat sales

📸 Great for students looking for community service hours or dog experience!

🐺 Adult Pack Leaders (Ages 18+)

Hands-On Tasks:

Deep cleaning stations or rotation

Shadowing whelping or doula support (if desired)

Directing Junior + Teen volunteers

Event setup, breakdown, and support

Dog walking, enrichment building, or training support

Assistance with social media, content, and logistics

✨ Adults can also bring specialty skills like photography, organization, graphic design, vet tech experience, or fundraising.

📝 How It Works:

Volunteers choose their favorite areas or rotate through new ones each visit.

On any given day, staff (family/employees) may ask for help elsewhere if needed, and we appreciate the teamwork!
