1999-2007
(Paving the cement)
For several years, I have moved across North America, Down to the South. Discovering the energy and life of cities and countries, wherein Elpaso , Texas I was given my second “Personal” Pup (My First being a Dalmatian). Coming From a military background it was very common to see families moving away and having to leave behind their furry loved ones. Behind My house the was a Park and on the other side lived a Caucasian Family with 2 children younger than me (2007). Homeschooled;Barely allowed outside.
I remember Ayla; Ayla was the younger (f) sibling but she operated as the eldest as she was evidently had a posessed a sense of responsibility greater than her older brother. She loved to throw the ball in the yard for her white cocker spaniel scrappy. He loved that ball with everything in him.
I remember Ayla crying her eyes out asking me to take him.I told her yes but I hadn’t asked my mom yet (which happened soooo many more times in life 😅sorry mom). She gave me Him, His ball, And His leash. She hugged him tightly and then let him go 🥺 heart breaking just thinking back.
2008-2009
(Laying the foundation)
I surely walked him Everyday and Everyday I Threw his ball, indoors outdoors. I realized I didn’t need the leash because scrappy never left my side , If I was riding my bike he was riding it too. Paws on the peddles. Feet/Claws gripping the bar. There wasn’t many places you would find me without him.
in 2008 we moved to Alief , Texas and This was when my mom decided the maintenance of my dogs was my own. If your not familiar with the breed he again was all white, and LOVED to play in the mud. His HAIR would mat if not brushed often or properly and my mom liked him best with a haircut and his luau Button-up on.
This was when I learned about grooming.
As motivated as scrappy was I began teaching him and my sisters dog your everyday basic commands it was then we mastered sit,lay down and speak…and from speak I went on to count
. That’s when I knew I was divinely created.
I got motivated to do something great and make a little money on the side at this time I was only 8 therefore I went with what I knew. Grown ups always said find something you would do even if you weren’t getting paid.I knew I was good with dogs, and I loved them so I went around asking my neighbors to walk their dogs once daily for an hour.
Gretta ; (f) Basset Hound was my first paying & recurring client. Her old man was very kind and would always have her ready at the door.
